.:. Old Method of Extracting Vocals - CrappleJunkTown
.:. Basic Vocal Rips DIY with Utagoe Rip - Chancha
In the future hopefully a full blown tutorial section can be implemented here, it will be concerned on all fronts of audio / mixing techniques, tips, tricks, hints, anything that would help a beginner, or even an expert, is going to be desired for the site.
We have some resident audio folks here too but truth is we are all learning. So if anyone reading this can provide any helpful write up's, or maybe just seeking for a discussion on the technical aspects of things, it is welcome for you to contact us.
A capella
(aka, vocal only tracks)
In order to start doing a remix from scratch, you likely need an acapella track. What is it? Basiclly a track exactly the same as the song, but with all the music removed, so that only the singers' and the backups' voices are left. Unless you are doing a NIKOICHI mix or any kind of lazy attempt, you will need one of these.
*** The rips available are rotated every so often, greyed out means the rip is off for the moment ***
Since we have resolved the disk space problem, ALL rips are available now!
You may also notice that, some of these rips are simply not that clean at all, basically unusable if you were to mix with them. In response to this a kinda rating system is used:
:) = perfect / o = good / -- = okay / x = bad
We keep re-trying on the worse rips, that we put up a new version once and a while. The digit after the rip name is the version number. So make sure you check often to see if the one you wanted to use is revised for better results.
By the way, you will be granted the status of god if you share out any finished CLEAN rip.
