These firecracker photos are always great. Always. If and when I go to Japan I am gonna keep a warehouse of these and play with them every night.
Hmm yeah back on topic... Asami is cute as hell here as usual, I find the original photo particularly shines with the tonal treatment and its just so moody it is great. The vertical shot had an almost pitch dark background to it, so it took not much effort for me to merge it into the Photoshop ground.
No effect was needed and the typography is straightly her name in Japanese, just so to reflect the hanabi theme there.
