~a new era~
GiRLPOP is probably the only idol magazine out there that still cares about photography that is *real* good. Makes you wonder what the hell those other books out there are doing. I am dubbing this the "best god damn berryz photo ever" and you are not going to argue about that.
Be gone with the class-photo formation and we got some interesting poses. Them's hands on each others' make it so much warmer, tendorer, chewier... yeah. The beach setting quite fits the "friendship" mood and I took that sandy brown all over as a tonal theme for pretty much the whole canvas. So the color is entirely desaturated, and then that subtle tint of brown was coated upon, for especially the more colorful places like the clothes.
I felt there needed be a cursive sort of ornament to go above the photo, as long as I wanted a line of text or two. Those 2 there are the same vector graphic, I just rotated it to achieve some form of symetry. As with the graphic, the font choice was also of a cursive script type named Kuenstler.
