ecomoni 05 - rikaYet another attempt at the aneglic, fantasy look.
Ecomoni has always come as an otherworldly pair, the costume needless to say do resemble fairies or some sort; I didn't like their first version, but with thes new ones in the '05 year, I love them.
Since I have been experimenting with that electricheat style lately, so I took it one level higher for this photo series instead of just one pic (yes there are 2 more but it takes an ass load of time to make all at once).
A lot of graphic elements were thrown in because I wanted a very smushy but soft look. Quite a bit of work onto tracing the patterns on the costume, those leave-like / floral pieces that would translate pretty well when I do them as line art on the wallpaper. In Rika's outfit, there are 3 types of them in the pattern, so in accordance I also did 3 distinct looks for them in the design.
Inevitable sparkling stars and random butterflies were then there to fill up the spaces. I felt Rika needed some glowiness, so there they are the dodging aura, with an offset lime green shadow as a contrast.
Out of all the florals, I liked the 5-patel one the most; therefore I blew them up, placing them overlapingly to generate a green backdrop for the whole artwork. Hollow'd it out and filled it with a sky photo, can't get any moodier.
Everything is in center-line that the remaining whites were excessive, so I put together a crest ornament as a background tile, with another cloudy layer-mask to spice the whole canvas up. Final touch was the text, I know it doesn't need to be there, but well what the fuck...
