Deconstructive treatment all the way to hell, since the source pic is merely a corner small pic off a magazine, which = super hyper low res.
Composition is awesome though. It was rather hard to add in any drastic graphic element to it, so I simply kept the photo intact while throwing a lot of texture to it. Grainy effect. paper fold, fresco, wet canvas, silk screen... so many I forgot what I did really.
Again, to maintain the whole composition of it all, The text I added was also very invisible. It is huge, but pretty much just sunk into the whole thing. The typeface is Didot by the way.
