Honey FlareThe photo scans came with a bloody full page of pure yellow, Maki stands right in the middle making this a-must for my wallpaper wankerage.
I realized I did another Nochiuranatsumi wall which used the same damn yellow. Thereby to not doing that color again boring myself to death, a lot of red-orange was then added to the BG to smudge the thing off as an analogus scheme.
My recent works almost all had rough texture layers, to make a newer attempt this time I all the way used smooth photos as overlays. The theme was the flare, bubble and refraction look, sort of like the Mac OS stock wallpapers style, whatever you call that shit.
Invisible typography was then in place, yet again. I looked at that yellow and found it quite close to some of those race-queen stuff, so I picked a rather sharpy, speedy, ricerish looking font.
I tilt my god damn text a lot, apparently. A bit too much you could say. So what the hell this can't be an exception here. Though they do align with the cross-looking flares that at least gives me an excuse to do so.
Version2
Tweaked the background stuff a bit since I added a 1920x1200 one. For the 1680x1050, version1 had Maki taking almost the full height of the screen, and it looked bad with menubars on top. This new one now give it as much space as it has on the others.
