Heart, Beating in the Snow

First shot at the coeur book;

Fearing my inability to perfect the other 2-page-spreads in the book, I refrained from those attempts, and instead took a collage design this time. The setting of the shootings were definitely not implying the winter feel, but this specific outfit miki had on there was this crimson red top - conincidentally it is also time for Christmas season, therefore I coaxed upon a pseudo theme over which was turning out rather well.

The lovely part about these couple shots was that they seem intented to be captures of a fluid motion, only a bit far apart. It is almost as if she was walking pass, noticing your sight, she took a short half glance, turned away keep on swaying away, grinning with a smile. Okay I am sure it isn't exactly that poetic but shut up when I have my fantasy!.

Okay, anyway. This reminds me a theme of a heart beating instance, falling in love in the first sight, that kind of bullshit - wIth a snowy touch, no less. The thing though, I wanted to do those sparkling effects that I have been using recently, they work great as far as giving off a glamrous feel for the winter season look; however, they are done best when against a dark background, which is lacking here. It couldn't be helped but that meant I had to concentrate them on the very few darker areas of the couple photos', in a confined way since they are to be layouted in boxes with tilts, like a collage series. Escalating 3 and the turn away was like going right down - illustrating right how your heart jumps... yeah.

Feathers, snow, flakes, all that. I didn't want it to be too corny but I stuffed an apparent heart there to really outline the theme... some of you may be keen enough to recognize it, that is from the "Fantasy" album of MY LITTLE LOVER's.

The cheesy text there wa borrowed right out of a somewhat niche Japanese film "Heart, Beating in the Dark"
