Blue
An experiment upon that silkscreen look.
This is almost an entire mock up of a screen, at first I got down that thershold outline of Mikitty. It wasn't straight forward though, if you realize it is a combination of 2 exposures, just so to show the details the most.
And then I spent quite some time to manipulate the texture of the screen, the canvas, and then that brushed down paint look with the watercolor textural layer. Also to mimick the "oh shit the paint is through" nature of halfass silk screens, I got that spilled paint stripe at the bottom to make this more of a workable desktop than now.
Finally is the typeface, which I picked a Germanic metal font which I don't know, I just liked it. To the last touch was the color... just hued it all the way down to that teal blue, yeah... silk screen damn blue it is, master yoda.
