The colors of this magazine shot is so pretty... Rarely is yellow+purple done such nicely.
Major retouching was needed to merge 2 pages together and took away a whole lot of overlaping text. The missing chunk in the middle needed a lot of details and that took a while.
And then the types. At first I wanted a cyan / green color to go with the scheme, but it turned out quite out of place. So I took the average of yellow and purple as an analogus accent, with subtle transparency effect, placed very awkardly just to cover up the leftover from the middle merge...
