violetA really prominent shot from the book, great lighting and all... However, it is a vertical page; I wasted a long while trying to fit this as a horizontal spread, but that got me nowhere.
So what the hell. Just rotate it. The whole damn thing.
The color isn't vibrant per se, but it looks rich, as such I saturated the pic up a whole lot for a juiciness. Both the background and Reina's dress have quite busy looking patterns already, so I didn't add any drastic graphic element to maintain the focus on those ornaments.
Apparently, the typography is treated as if it's entirely rotated with the photo. The violet off the dress looks really fitting, so there I whored it all the way for the text just as well. "American Typewriter" always has that richness when mixed with texture like this photo's, so, there goes the font choice.
