I tend to re-adjust the colors of the wallpapers I myself made, just so to match the desktop theme I use. And for this Rika one I grey-scaled it too for my X-Metal OS X theme.
Usually I don't bother to post these out, but this one turned out exceptionally well so hey here you go. It isn't just a pure desaturation, I pretty much toned the whole thing down to a really low contrast so only few greys are there as opposed to blacks with whites, and then the text had to be tweaked a bit to be more visible.
It gives so much of an ash feel that I think it quite suits the mood of the photo, probably even more so than the red that I tried.
